From cooking it up in the world of food and hospitality to innovating in the realm of UX design, my journey has been packed with a flavorful mix of experiences and learnings. Before I stepped into the UX Academy, you could find me running around, and creating and operating small food startup businesses with a close team (mostly running around). This wasn't just about cooking up delicious menus; it was a constant challenge of problem-solving, adaptability, and wearing multiple hats—skills that seasoned me (haha) not just in the culinary arts but in the fundamentals of design thinking, project management, and honestly in everyday life.
The shift to UX design was driven by my passion for creating products from the ground up and my desire to enhance the user experience. My background in hospitality, where every detail contributes to the overall user experience, seamlessly translated into the principles of UX. It taught me the importance of creating memorable experiences for users—a philosophy that has become the bedrock of my approach to UX design.
When I'm not designing you can usually find me on the tennis court, with my nose stuck in a book, or making things for my friends—whether that be 3D printing and painting a Catan set or making custom calendars based on their favorite Pokémon.
